The current water framework relies on antiquated approaches and dated systems, making water technology and infrastructure areas ripe for innovation. Blue Access works with a wide range of stakeholders to develop innovative technological solutions to water security issues at a local level, with the potential to be scaled globally. By using an “incubator” approach in the United States to research and solve local water scarcity and infrastructure problems, Blue Access can provide key models, technologies, and practices for others to implement in local settings across the globe. With a core focus on sustainability, our priorities include the development of energy and agriculture technologies that reduce the consumption of water and promote conservation, as well as other green technologies that fall within the company’s mission. Innovation is also inspiring Blue Access to develop new water financing and pricing mechanisms, which move away from failed legacy approaches and transform the business of water to ensure sustainable water access and equity.
